Billing & Refund Policy
How billing, renewals, cancellation and refunds work for frenchitupdaily. This is a plain-language summary, not legal advice.
Plans and pricing
Free requires no payment and no card. Monthly Pro is $19/month (USD), a recurring subscription that renews automatically each month until you cancel. Prices are shown in USD; if you pay in another currency your bank sets the exchange rate.
Billing and renewals
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your Monthly Pro subscription renews automatically on the same day each month using your saved payment method, until you cancel. Stripe emails you a receipt for every payment.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime, in two ways: from your Account page using Cancel subscription, or through the Stripe billing portal using Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep full Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after you cancel.
Refunds: 3-day money-back guarantee
If Monthly Pro is not right for you, request a refund within 3 days of a payment and we will refund that charge in full, no questions asked.
After 3 days, a charge for a billing period that has already started is non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop all future charges and keep access until the period ends. We still fix clear billing errors, such as a duplicate or accidental charge; just contact us.
How to request a refund
Email hello@frenchitupdaily.com from the address on your account, or use the contact page, within the window above. Tell us the email you used at checkout so we can find the payment.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe. They typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Taxes
Where required, applicable sales tax, VAT or GST is calculated and added at checkout. Any tax charged is itemised on your receipt.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and emails you a link to update your card. If payment still cannot be collected, your subscription may be paused or cancelled and Pro access ends until you resubscribe.
Chargebacks
If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first. We can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback cancels your subscription and may revoke access while it is reviewed.
The official exam
frenchitupdaily is an independent study platform. You book and pay for the real TEF Canada or TCF Canada exam separately with the official provider; those fees are not paid to us and cannot be refunded by us.
